The International Society for Heart Research (ISHR) aims to promote discovery in cardiovascular sciences and the dissemination of knowledge in the field through publications, conferences, and other media. The web site of the ISHR is an excellent example of how a web site should be designed in order to effectively disseminate information about a scientific society and supply useful news to its members. The information relevant to the society and its publications is clearly organized.
