A Study To Assess The Effectiveness Of Ict Enabled Teaching Intervention On Knowledge And Attitude Regarding Voluntary Blood Donation Among Undergraduate Students Of Selected Colleges At Kanpur Uttar Pradesh

Abstract

The present Quantitative research study was conducted in Yashraj college of nursing. The sample was selected by using simple random sampling Technique. The sample size was 60 undergraduate students of Yashraj college of nursing. The validity and reliability of tool was established. The data was collected using structured questionnaire and self-structured 5- point Likert scale. The result of the study showed that the mean and standard deviation of pre- test and post-test level of knowledge among undergraduate students is 10.18 and 19.68 The obtained ‘t’ value i.e. 17.72 was higher than the table value 2.00 with p value<0.05. This shows that there was significant difference association between pre-test and post-test knowledge voluntary blood donation. The mean and standard deviation of pre-test and post-test level of attitude among undergraduate students is 51.56 and 58.55. The obtained ‘t’ value i.e. 6.45 was higher than the table value 2.00 with p value p<0.05. This shows there was significant different association between pre-test and post-test level of attitude regarding voluntary blood donation among undergraduate students. The study was concluded that there was an effectiveness of ICT enabled teaching intervention on voluntary blood donation among undergraduate students.
