Introduction

Dialogues in Cardiovascular Medicine (DCM) welcomes the submission of original and high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine, cardiology, vascular science, and related healthcare disciplines. Authors are encouraged to carefully review these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

The journal considers the following categories of submissions:

Manuscript Preparation

Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English. Authors are responsible for ensuring the linguistic quality of their submissions before submission.

 

File Format

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

 

Manuscript Structure

Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Full manuscript title
  • Author names and affiliations
  • Corresponding author’s name and email address
  • ORCID iD(s) (if available)

 

Abstract

An abstract should clearly summarize the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study.

 

Keywords

Provide 3–8 relevant keywords immediately following the abstract.

 

Main Text

Original Research Articles should generally include:

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion

 

References

References should be accurate, complete, and formatted consistently according to the journal's reference style. Authors are responsible for verifying all citations before submission.

 

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures should be cited within the text.
  • Each table and figure should have an appropriate title or legend.
  • Images should be submitted in high-resolution format.
  • Authors must obtain permission for any copyrighted material used.

 

Ethical Considerations

Human Subjects Research

Studies involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards and should indicate approval from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board.

 

Informed Consent

When applicable, informed consent must be obtained from all participants.

 

Animal Studies

Research involving animals should comply with recognized ethical guidelines and institutional requirements.

 

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All authors must approve the final manuscript prior to submission.

 

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation.

 

Plagiarism Policy

Submitted manuscripts must be original and must not contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, or inappropriate citation practices. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that violate publication ethics.
